Ahmadinejad Warns Israel about Repeating Previous Mistakes

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in a joint press conference with his Syrian counterpart Bashar al-Assad in Damascus warned that the Israeli regime should wait for the regional
countries' retaliatory measures if it dares to repeat previous mistakes.
If the Zionists attempt to commit their previous mistakes, it will result in their definite destruction, Ahmadinejad said on Thursday.
All people in the region such as in Syria, Iran ,
Lebanon and Iraq are determined to fight against the Zionist regime to uproot it, he said.
On crimes and atrocities of the Zionist regime against Palestinians, he said since the Zionists have
reached dead-end, their crimes have roots in their weakness.
They assume if they scratch over the face of the people in the region, it would save them but to no avail, underlined Ahmadinejad.
Elsewhere, he referred to the relations between Iran and Syria , and added the existing ties between the two countries are very deep, broad-based, durable and brotherly and could not be harmed by any events, he said.
"We are similar to two brothers in two different geographic locations but pursue common goals and aspirations in dealing with our common enemies," he said.
Tehran and Damascus are to expand economic, political as well as cultural ties as the prospect of both sides' relations is very promising, he said.
President Ahmadinejad and his entourage arrived in the capital city of Damascus , Syria , Thursday morning on a two-day official visit.
