Address for Lebanon's Independence DayLebanon in theory celebrates its independence won from France who sold Lebanon and traded it one thousand time in the course of History. An independence to be celebrated by Lebanese patriots, an expression of joy celebrating a free and independent Lebanon. Instead, organized and orchestrated by Syria, Beirut will be celebrating thugs, drug dealers, and murderers, who will commemorate their dependence on the same Lebanese mafia that assassinated the spirit of Lebanese independence by murdering Lebanese Druze Leader Kamal Jumblatt, former President Bashir Gemayel, Sunni Mufti Leader Sheikh Hassan Khaled, former President Rene Moawad, Dany Chamoun, and thousands of other Lebanese patriots. This crowd of pseudo-Lebanese and pro-Syrian sycophants will be gathered on a nice podium at the Ministry of Defense in Yarze, celebrating a Lebanese Army that was murdered and handicapped the 13th of October 1990. This crowd of pseudo Lebanese and pro-Syrian sycophants will actually be celebrating thousands of Lebanese patriots in jail for political expediency in order to please and praise the Syrian occupation and Iranian terror. They celebrate the Syrian and Iranian occupation in Lebanon and in turn they receive personal and political favors at the expense of peace and democracy. Without shame, they rise their voice to support a national Resistance (AKA Hizbullah), the mother of all terrorism and sins in the Middle East. All Lebanese are dirtied as they see these clowns who represent them. The US Marines who landed in 1982 to help form an independent Lebanon were not murdered in Beirut without reason. They were murdered by these same people who are proudly celebrating past terror actions against the US, Israel, and the West. It is a celebration of terror by those who wish to exclude Lebanon from US influence in the Middle East, and include it in the Syrian-Iranian terror alliance whose mission is to attack Israel, torpedo, and remove all US influence in the Middle East.. The Time has come. We are addressing today a Lebanese nation decimated by terror yet with the will to stand proudly and fight terrorism We, the Government of Lebanon in Exile are telling the Lebanese not to lose hope and surrender to terrorism and tyranny. In a time where major events are happening in the world, the winds of changes are blowing towards the Middle East. It is in the best interests of the United States to bring Lebanon to its natural role as a free and sovereign democracy, to serve and educate the Middle East as to the meaning of freedom, democracy, and religious pluralism. The root of the problem is not with Palestine as President Khatami stated. The Palestinian problem is only one of many and cannot be addressed from a radical, Islamic viewpoint. You cannot address Israel in isolation and allow Lebanon to remain under the grip of Islamic fundamentalists. Those murderers are in power today and using the issue of Palestine as justification in their battle against the West. Israel is only a diversion for the U.S. presence that is the provocation for Iran and Syria who praise, support, and execute terrorist activities in the name of the battle against the West and the United States. Terrorism cannot be justified and those who have terrorist blood on their hands should not be forgiven nor dismissed. Terrorism has a cowardly face, it strikes you in the back, and when the moment of truth arrives, it hides, trying to escape the response it provoked. This approach of attack and hide and obfuscate the issues is not new in the Middle East. This has been the approach for more than two decades and this is the time to put an end to it. This artificial Lebanese government that supports terrorism in all forms will not last long.
Declaration by The Government of Lebanon in Exile Our government in exile renews its commitment this 22nd of November that Lebanon will once again be free and independent. Those who are selling Lebanon to terror should leave, as a free Lebanon will no longer tolerate them. Let them leave while they still have time. This Lebanese Government in Exile will be coming to Beirut to liberate Lebanon from the grip of terrorism and represent all the Lebanese factions into a National Reconciliation program. We will be installing a new government and electing a new Parliament whose job will be to install a strong democracy and promote peace in the Middle East. We will ask the Israeli government for military assistance. We will ask the United States for political help in fighting terrorism and world-wide support. We will praise a brave Lebanese Army that will be proud to celebrate a deserved 22nd of November for Lebanon, We will sign a peace treaty with Israel and secure normal relations with neighboring Syria We will drive the Peace Process to a new dynamic and a new stature in the Middle East.
